Gayle has a Bachelor of Science (Melbourne University) graduating 1999, and completed a Master Dietetics and Nutrition (Deakin University) in 2001. Gayle additionally has Certificate III and IV (Fitness) (Fitnation, 2008), and has previously been a personal trainer. Gayle has also completed the ‘if not dieting’ health professional training course in 2010, and is in the process of studying the low FODMAP dietitian course through Monash University and will finish this in early 2018.
Gayle is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and brings almost 20 years of experience as a dietitian working at several hospitals and community health centres before starting private practice in 2004. Gayle also has several years experience working as a personal trainer, although she no longer works in this field. Gayle's areas of expertise includes diabetes, weight management, food intolerances, cardiovascular disease, combining diet and exercise to improve overall health and well being. Areas of interest include weight management and sports nutrition. |
